Lafayette - Ervie T. Wilkinson, 77, 1005 Southland Drive North, died at 10:05 p.m. Wednesday in Home Hospital. He was a paint contratyor and owned and operated Wilkinson Paint & Glass at Lafayette. He attended Crawfordsville schools and was a member of the Crawfordsville Masonic Lodge 50. Born near Alamo 8 March 1906, he was a son of Fred and Stella Lewellan (sic)Wilkinson. He was married 6 Oct 1927 to Bertha E. Knox, who survives. He is also survived by a son, E. Thomas Jr., a daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Joan) Brown; a brother,Ernest; a sister, Emma Earl; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Hippensteel Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Benjamin Antle officiating. Entombment in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
